Charlotte and Daniel
Love minimalist, white, beige and neutral tones... well these two do too, and that's what they based their beautifully stylish, Aswarby Rectory wedding around. Aswarby Rectory is a stunning venue in Sleaford, with white washed interiors, huge sash windows, original 1800 features, and old wood floors - it's a photographers dream. The light cascades in so beautifully, and bounces around the white walls, it makes the perfect blank canvas backdrop for any type of wedding, whilst being effortlessly editorial. Charlotte + Daniel planned a wedding with 80 guests, a mixture of their Newcastle based family, and London based friends. They opted for minimalism and neutrals, which suited the venue and their personal tastes beautifully. Charlotte wore a simple, but very chic gown by Alexandra Grecco, which she purchased from Marrime in the North East. She opted for a statement headpiece and earring by Vivi Embellish, which perfected and elevated the look. Josephine Way and Hannah Blinko were on makeup and hair, and made Charlotte look fresh and glowing, with incredibly voluminous hollywood waves. Dan and the boys went for very stylish beige suits, with very light grey touches. Florals by Lily Jayne Florist adorned the reception, ceremony room and cascaded down that famous staircase, as well as Charlotte's incredible bouquet. Again beiges and creams were the main colour palette, with dried elements and orchids. The beautiful stationery had been designed and printed by Charlotte and Dan, which I was amazed at! It looked so high end, and was the perfect finishing touch to their feasting tables - with deckled edges, and wax seals, plus a favour badge for each guest to commemorate a donation to Mind in their name. Heather at TSP cake created the two tier minimalist, crumbling looking creation, which was bang on theme. Despite forecast rain, they were delighted that it stayed dry, and their guests could enjoy the harpist outside on the lawn and in the courtyard. It was a balmy summer evening, and it was so lovely to capture these two and their friends and family - the house made the most stunning and effortlessly chic backdrop for portraits and group shots - I love these images, it's a very favourite preview set of mine. From the details, to the emotion in the first look with Charlotte and her dad, the emotion in the speeches, and the oozing of style in every image - it really was a pleasure to document.
