Lori + Aaron
A city wedding, in the heart of Liverpool, at the iconic Bombed out St Luke's church. Lori and Aaron had an absolute BALL, and threw a huge party for their family and loved ones.
The day started with the boys at Duke Street hotel, a relaxed getting ready with Aaron, his son Otis, and his two best men. They helped each other with their bow ties and button holes, then headed for a pint as I headed to the girls at Hope Street. Lori didn't want a big fuss, she wanted relaxed, laid back, and that's the morning she had with her girls. Lori had an amazing Tara Lauren dress, all over lace and sheer panels at the front, whilst her bridesmaids were in high necked rust dresses - totally chic, contemporary and stylish. They all headed to the amazing St Luke's in an uber cute camper. Once there, Lori walked down the aisle to Aaron, under the roofless arches of the church, and they had a personal, joyous ceremony delivered by Sophie Colligan. Sophie told their story, how they met, how their relationship developed, shared their values and what's important to them and what's to come for them both. There were tears and laughter a plenty. Post ceremony, it was party time. This is something I loved about this wedding, they wasted no time in getting down to what they really loved, which was letting loose on the dancefloor! Guests were even dancing before speeches! You can really tell in the images too that they were just having the best time, care free laughter, dancing, just really relishing their day together. Some of my favourite images from this wedding are from the dancefloor, and the candid, natural images of Lori and Aaron together, opposed to the portraits. Just a beautiful, relaxed, joyous day, for a couple who really made the most of it!
