Helena + Chris


Whilst I was travelling to New York for a top secret elopement, I knew on my spare days that I would love to connect with some couples that live in the city, and document as many love stories as I could. I love travelling, but there's just something really special about being able to travel and create at the same time, and for me, photographing just isn't the same without people in front of my lens. Enter Helena + Chris, friends of a friend, who agreed to meet me and share a slice of their Sunday morning in Brooklyn to create some romantic and adventurous city style couple images. I was so happy to get a couples shoot in New York City, but even better to be at the iconic Brooklyn Bridge, and super trendy neighborhood Dumbo, with that famous view of Manhatten. We walked and talked and chatted about how they met and their story, and took some intimate and romantic images to document them, and their daily life.


I loved creating this session, and telling their story through some cinematic images, with the city in the background. It was a beautiful experience photographing in New York and I loved every second of working with this gorgeous couple!
