Tracy + Matt

A balmy late summer wedding at the incredible Dewsall Court, with a Secret Garden theme, outdoor ceremony, and a joyous day after a couple of stressful covid postponements. Dewsall Court in Herefordshire is an idyllic venue, and definitely one of my favourites after this day. A mix between an elevated barn and a manor house, it really has everything, including beautiful grounds and an eclectic treehouse. Tracy and Matt both got ready on site, with Tracy in the incredible bridal suite with all TEN (!!) of her bridesmaids. The decor and light in the bridal suite were both beautiful, and fit the theme of the wedding perfectly. Throughout the house I used the light to photograph Tracy's details - her stationery by Wonderland Invites, and gorgeous bouquet by Verity and Thyme. Despite having so many bridesmaids, it was a really relaxed and laid back morning, with plenty of time and space to create, especially as Tracy got into her Jesus Peiro Gown.

As it was a gorgeous summer's day, Tracy and Matt opted to wed in an outdoors ceremony, complete with a huge floral arch, with a countryside home grown feel by Verity and Thyme. The ceremony was emotional and intimate, with both shedding a tear and lots of laughs and giggles as they finally sealed the deal! The images of them leaving their ceremony are some of my absolute favourites, they joy from them both is just palpable. Family photos were in front of that beautiful arch, with bridal party shots in front of the main house - especially loved Tracy's bridesmaids mix and matched dresses, and bohemian style customised tambourines instead of bouquets, such a unique keepsake for the girls.

We walked around the grounds for their couple portraits, and really tried to lean into that Secret Garden feel. Some super romantic images of them both, they were both naturals. For the speeches, it was into the main barn of Dewsall, where the arch from the ceremony had been moved behind the top table. The space felt rustic but elevated, and really elegant with the florals and bud vases. Three amazing speeches led into a gorgeous first dance, and packed dancefloor, with soft summer evening light flooding through the windows.

I loved shooting this day and being a part of it all, not just an amazing venue and suppliers, but a couple so obviously overjoyed to be married and have all their favourite people in one place. It was the ultimate relaxed, laid back summer wedding, but still full of emotion and style in equal measures.
