Paige + Dan

A mid-may scorcher of a wedding! Paige + Dan wed last weekend at the beautiful Kilworth house, with all it's elegance and charm.

These two manipulated a lot of your usual wedding traditions, to make a day that was completely personal to them. We started with Paige getting ready with her girls, in one of the gorgeous bedrooms, overlooking the expanse of the grounds. It felt very regal, and when I saw Paige's dress - a stunning Milla Nova ballgown, with added puff sleeves, I could really see her vision. Dan got ready in one of the lounge spaces with the boys, with was equally as elegant, before they wed in an intimate ceremony in the Wordsworth suite. Paige and Dan had a small amount of guests for their ceremony, making it really intimate, as they didn't enjoy public speaking, but after that, had more guests arrive for their drinks reception onwards. We used the wisteria for their group shots, and had to make use of those incredible windows for their portraits.

They had lots to entertain their guests, from a string quartet in the day, and a paint filled balloon guest book, to fire performances in the evening, and the imitable girls that mix on sax, bongos and DJing. They just had short but sweet and sentimental speeches, after which we snuck off to get some of that sweet golden hour goodness for some more portraits, a private first dance, and a cake cut to get the evening going! The orangery was the perfect backdrop for all of this, with beautiful light tumbling in from all angles, and creating a gorgeous setting to photograph everyone that meant the most to them. It was also lovely to work with Charlotte from Georgina Rose Events on this one, with so many elements across the day, everything ran perfectly.
