Tom and Benji
Next month will see these two officially tying the knot at the beautiful Hidden River cabins... but I just had to share some images from their pre shoot. All my couples booked for full day wedding photography, have the chance to book a complimentary pre wedding shoot - and some of my favourite, creative images come from these. On a pre shoot, we have more time than on your wedding day, to really create imagery that represents the both of you. Tom + Benji chose the beach at Blackpool (my hometown) to have their shoot, and we got the most beautiful golden hour. Pre shoots allow us to meet before the day, get to know each other, you both a little practice run in front of the camera, and get some amazing, non wedding imagery of you both. I LOVE the images from this session, they feel so adventurous and romantic, paired with that dream lighting, and some slow shutter motion action for a real dreamy feel. I'd really recommend anyone to have a pre shoot - whether you're nervous or not - they're such a beautiful and romantic way to mark your relationship, and have some more casual images of you both. Here we went for a paddle in the sea too - probably not something most couples would want to do on their wedding day! They're an opportunity to create together, for me to get a feel for you both as a couple so I can then connect with you and represent you both in the best and most fitting way in your wedding photographs. I love how natural Tom and Benji look in these images, and how their outfits complement the sand and sea setting - a really beautiful example of the magic we can make together, when given the time and space.
