Manchester Registry Office Wedding
I first met Glen and Tom a couple of years back, when they modeled for me, for a styled shoot, also in Manchester city centre, so being booked for their legal wedding, also in Manchester, felt like a total full circle moment. They've been photographed now by a huge number of photographers, so it felt like a very special honour to be chosen to document their legal wedding in Manchester.
Even though legal weddings are often just the obligatory paperwork, it's still a milestone in your life and wedding journey, even if it's not the 'main' day, so in my opinion it's always worth making a little celebration out of them and having the day captured, even if just for a few hours! Tiny weddings are beautiful, and a Manchester wedding is always iconic in this Northern powerhouse city.

Manchester City Centre Weddings
Glen and Tom's main wedding is in France in the summer, so this was the perfect opportunity for another mini wedding, before the real celebrations. They both looked super smart and stylish, with Glen in a dark blue suit and deep red tie, and Tom in a burgundy double breasted suit, each with a chic white button hole. After the ceremony and paperwork, we hit some iconic spots around Manchester city centre, including the famous library walk, which must be every photographer's favourite spot in the city. We also walked around Deansgate, using the light and the architecture to create some gorgeous, romantic, editorial style wedding portraits in Manchester.

Manchester Wedding Photographer
Being a wedding photographer based in Manchester, it's always lovely to photograph weddings in the city centre, especially for a couple I've worked with on multiple occasions! Manchester weddings are effortlessly stylish, and there's so many different spots to utilise to make your photos feel authentic to you both. For this one we stuck with Deansgate and the chic, romantic style spots, but you can always head to Northern Quarter for a bit more grit, the Art Gallery for that artistic, dark academia feel, or any of the gorgeous independent coffee shops or restaurants, and working in your favourite places to visit as a couple. I'm obsessed with these images of Glen and Tom, our previous shoots together were hard to beat, but their legal Manchester wedding day beats them all - and it is a huge privilege to be chosen by these two!
