OLD MARYLEBONE TOWN HALL Wedding Photographer
When Gemma and Eloise initially contacted me, they said they found me on TikTok, and that it was really important to them to have suppliers that they felt they could be comfortable with, and suppliers that represented them, so a lesbian wedding photographer was top of the list. They said they also loved my work, and would've booked me regardless (lysm girls) but the fact I was also part of the community was the icing on the cake. As a lesbian wedding photographer, it is so unbelievably fulfilling and validating getting to document other queer couples love stories, and be a part of their legacy and family history. Queer couples haven't always been afforded the equal rights of marriage, and getting to photograph beautiful, queer wedding days is so meaningful, and the importance and significance is never lost on me.
Eloise + Gemma opted for a super cool central London wedding - based around the sleek One Hundred Shoreditch, which was the backdrop for them getting ready together and their reception, whilst their ceremony was the the iconic Old Marylebone Town Hall.

I love that Gemma + Eloise chose to get ready together, in their Juicy Couture bridal tracksuits. They wanted a really relaxed and laidback morning, and knew they'd both feel much better being together. As queer weddings are already non traditional, it can feel a lot easier for us to pick and choose what traditions we want to lean into and what suits us, and I love that we get to rewrite the rule book for weddings and do things our own way. They got into their dresses together, Eloise in a cute, fun and flirty number by Lirika Matoshi, and Gemma in a stylish, figure hugging gown from House of CB. Both dresses were incredible, and went perfectly together. As they were leaving to catch their black cabs, they forgot the flowers - but no matter, nothing was going to get these two down. As they arrived at the town hall, all their family were outside waiting for them, and they got to do a grand royal entrance to the town hall before their ceremony.
They walked down the aisle together, chose the Wii sports music to sign the register, and exited the Town Hall with complete joy and huge confetti canons - it might've been a heatwave in London but there was so much confetti they made it look like it was snowing! After some speedy romantic portraits at Marylebone, we all boarded the white vintage bus to take us back to Shoreditch, and no journey is complete without Eloise's music playing on the aux chord - She's a FCKING POPSTAR!!! Shouted one of their friends as the bus weaved through London traffic.

Lesbian Wedding Photographer - OLD MARYLEBONE TOWN HALL
As we got back to One Hundred Shoreditch, the drink of choice was Palomas on the rooftop terrace, after which guests made their way into the beautiful dining room, complete with panoramic views of London, and florals that the girls had done themselves! We were treated to 4 incredible speeches, by Eloise, Gemma, Eloise's dad, and Gemma's best friend Lily. Each one told a different piece of their story, and highlighted not only the love between them both, but the love in the room from their wonderfully supportive and overjoyed family. Again it is such a privilege to photograph queer weddings but also queer weddings with a family who who could not be more genuinely thrilled.
After their fully vegan 3 course meal, the evening entertainment commenced with the incredible Ciro Soul Machine live singer, who kept the party going for hours with some unbelievable renditions of undeniable hit The Thong Song and Backstreet Boys I want it That Way. I knew this was going to be a good dancefloor, but I was none stop laughing with their guests at their efforts all night - it was a sight to behold. We snuck out for some quick portraits after Gemma's dress change to finish off the night, and I was truly so sad to be leaving. This was such a special day, because of the girls and all their friends and family, and them curating a day that they knew they'd fully enjoy, and their guests would fully get lost in and enjoy. It was such a huge honour to be a part of, and these are going to be some of my favourite images for a long, long time - with more of their preview gallery below!
