Spain Destination Wedding Photographer
Set in Bethan's parents home in Spain, in the beautifully quaint, mountainous town of Casares, this wedding was a joyful, relaxed celebration of Bethan + Matt's relationship. It was deeply personal and heartfelt, with beautiful speeches from many of their family and friends, for a day that was just as much substance as it was style.

The day started at a little accomodation with the girls - a relaxed, laid back morning, with Bethan's friend Lucy doing her hair and makeup. As someone who doesn't really wear makeup, she went for something glowy and natural, herself but just a bit more 'done' and Lucy nailed the look. Throughout the morning, Beth + Matt's beloved dog, Chow Valentino was pottering around as well needed moral support. Bethan's dress was perfect for her, from the London bridal powerhouse Morgan Davies bridal, it was super chic, minimal and timeless with a big bow on the back to add a little bit of fun! She looked amazing, and with her maid of honour, her mum, chow, and some peony bouquets in tow, it was time to head up the mountains to the ceremony.

Destination Wedding in Spain
When I arrived at the Casares home, high up in the moutains, and saw the ceremony space, it took my breath away. Decorated with bows and peonies, it was just enough without taking over the beautiful location and lovely afternoon light. Bethan + Matt wanted the whole day to feel really personal and emotional, and as they got legally married in the UK, their ceremony was structured around a few of their nearest and dearest having the opportunity to share a few stories, which set the tone for the day and each was lovely! They exchanged personal vows, rings, a first kiss and head back up the aisle to some confetti canons, and shared some drinks with their guests by the pool to start the celebrations. Speeches have always been their favourite part of weddings they attended, so they peppered them throughout the day, keeping everything really significant and bringing the guests back to their different stories. Before we sat down for dinner and a few more speeches, in the peony laden dinner space, we did some family and group portraits atop the hill where the ceremony was earlier, using that beautiful light from the hot Spanish Sun to get some relaxed, but meaningful images.
Evening Celebrations in Spain
The couple made an entrance into their dinner setting, with Beth getting changed into a short version of her dress, and them both entering down the stairs to the absolute classic - Rock Dj by Robbie Williams. They shared a beautiful meal with their family, whilst listening to the main event speeches of the day, Beth's dad, Matt the groom himself, and the best man. After dinner it went straight into an iconic espresso martini hour, before entering the dancefloor for a wild night of celebrating!
I loved being a part of this one, and getting to explore somewhere unfamiliar to me - it was such a beautiful setting, elevated by their stylistic choices and it was lovely to see all their friends and family enjoying every second, in such a laid back and relaxed setting, that still also felt formal and gorgeous. Beth + Matt were a joy to work with, and photographing this felt really special. Some more images of this stunning day below!
