Deanne and Ollie
Deanne and Ollie live on the Isle of Man, but chose the beautiful Eden Barn, in the Eden Valley of Cumbria, for their Lake District wedding. Eden Barn is one of my favourite venues, not just for the beautiful setting, or the way the light tumbles into the barn, but because you couldn't have a better team looking after you on your wedding day. It's a family run venue, and the whole family have a part in making the weddings they run very special - Deanne and Ollie were no exception. They got ready separately in different accommodation around the Eden Valley, Deanne with her girls and daughter Annabella, Ollie with the boys and their two dogs! They travelled to the venue in the iconic Birdie Campervan, which doubled up as their evening entertainment as a photobooth. Deanne wore a gown by one of my favourite designers, Made with Love Bridal, featuring floral embroidery and shoulder 'wings' for that ultimate pretty spring look. They chose to have their ceremony inside the barn, which I personally love, as the light is just amazing, and their two dogs were the guests of honour on the front row. Eden Barn is effortlessly stylish, which shows in the images, but you still get that countryside vibe, which set the scene perfectly, combined with the most amazing seasonal florals by The Floralistas. Southcotts provided the catering, and a huge props to them for always looking after the suppliers at the venue too - I've never had anything less than an excellent meal here! I loved this day - we got some beautiful golden hour in the evening to create some really magical portraits, and the date was really special to these three as a family. Mother's day, and in between all of their birthdays. They had some of the best Lake District wedding suppliers on this one - style with substance.
