The Best Manchester Wedding Venues
Looking to get married in the best city in the world, but don't know where to start? You're in the right place. Here's a round up of one Manchester wedding photographer's favourite Manchester wedding venues, From traditional and editorial to alternative and stylish, there's something for everyone in this Northern powerhouse.

Manchester Hall
Formerly Manchester's Masonic Hall, Manchester Hall is a wedding venue steeped in history. Set on the uber cool Bridge Street and neighbour to Dishoom (Dishoom breakfast for your post wedding morning anyone?...). It's as stylish as it is iconic. Set across 3 floors, with hotel rooms for you to stay and get ready in, you can really make this venue your own. Whether you're wanting a small wedding in the Drawing room, or a bigger wedding in The Musuem, there's different rooms for different styles. Bigger bright and airy rooms, and darker moody rooms too. There's also a roof terrace, if you're lucky enough to avoid the famous Manchester drizzle, but there's also more than enough room inside for all your portraits, so if you do get a bit of that grey weather, you won't even have to know. The food is also 10/10. If you want more of a look into a wedding at Manchester Hall - here's Jo + Mike's NYE wedding.

Elizabeth Gaskell's House
Another historic option, and perfect for more intimate weddings. Just outside the city centre, Elizabeth Gaskell's house is the lovingly kept Victorian home of one of Manchester's most famous writers. you can get ready in the bedrooms, and married in the study or the drawing room, with a champagne reception whilst you explore the house and gardens, before heading into the city for a meal and dancing. This is a truly unique space, and perfect for literary lovers too, it has tonnes of character and beautiful light, meaning your photos will be just as beautiful. For more on this one, here's Lateisha + John's intimate wedding at Elizabeth Gaskell house, and The English Lounge in Manchester city centre.

Five Four Studios
Five Four Studios on the outskirts of Manchester, is another super unique wedding venue. Originally a photography studio space, this huge whitewashed venue is somewhere you can really make your own. It serves as the perfect blank canvas, so for any couples with a vision and eye for style, this is somewhere that you can truly transform to suit your aesthetic and personality. The fact it doubles as a photography studio means you have the perfect conditions to make some creative and stylish images.

Ducie Street Warehouse
With three different spaces to get married in, and of course the stunning hotel rooms, Ducie Street Warehouse is an industrial style wedding venue perfect for large or small weddings, and can accommodate all your guests. It's super cool and urban, for modern and chic couples, and a space you can dress up or down. With endless indoor options for photos, like jumping on the bed in your plush hotel room, you're also right in the city centre for some urban city slicking photos.

Manchester Art Gallery
Last but not least, a true favourite of mine, the iconic and stunning Manchester Art Gallery. For any art lovers, or couples wanting a wedding with a bit of an artistic touch, you can actually get married in the gallery spaces inside Manchester Art Gallery. The art works, and incredibly dramatic entrance to the gallery, provide the most amazing backdrops for your photos and your day. Imagine having your ceremony and meal amidst all the artworks, and heading into the city for some photos. It's truly a beautiful and unique wedding venue.
